I made a stupid animation and I'm too narcissistic not to talk about it. (listen to this idiot going on and on yapping.) It will be posted whenever clockday is. I stayed up all night to complete it. All frames were created separately in ms paint, I have no layers so I temporarily had cropped out bits from the previous frame in the one in progress until it looked like things would be in the right position; I didn't have any good system to restore the background after the cropped in parts were removed so that was a journey; and the audio, me playing harmonica, is awkwardly recorded with my mic directly into opentoonz. I made a better recording outside of opentoonz but couldn't figure out how to put that into the animation. It feels like the most work was put into trying to figure out how to operate opentoonz. And also my Winnie the pooh brain had to figure out how to install ffmpreg.

I originally wanted to have a tts-voice chant penis (ha ha penis) repeatedly, and have birds chirping in the background; the accordion was originally supposed to be a piano.

Perhaps it's a lie to say it's my very first animation. I've created slideshows in windows movie maker before. (They are forever lost on hard-drives that don't exist anymore now.) Doing it "serious" with frames like this is different however. I'm glad I got a taste for it, and I'm quite fond of that taste. Also it's just a shitpost so there's no pressure to create something good, thus not getting overwhelmed with the amount of work it would be, keeping me from not doing it. It was a lot of work (for me), but I didn't know that beforehand, which is good as I might not have done it if I did.
